I began taking piano lessons at the age of 8 in the early 1960's. When I began the 7th grade,
I took up the trumpet. In the 10th grade I switched to the French Horn where I have been for
more than 45 years. In 2010, I returned to The University of Memphis to complete my degree
in Music Education. My desire was to develop the skills necessary to teach people about the
joy of music and how to play their chosen instrument. I graduated in May of 2013 with a
Bachelor Degree in Music Education. We are prepared to provide beginner, intermediate, as well
as advanced lessons for almost all instruments. You may be an adult who desires to learn to play
an instrument. Whether it is brass, woodwind or, piano, Cordova Music Academy has the instructor
